Meet Tilak Kumar — Founder of AUMIKA®.
Arun Gems International · 2009AUMIKA® was founded by Tilak Kumar, a GIA® Graduate Gemologist and US Navy combat veteran whose journey into gemstones began long before the brand itself. Coming from a traditional goldsmith family in Bharat, and trained in Surat — the diamond capital of the world — Tilak brings over two decades of diamond and gemstone experience to every AUMIKA® piece.
In 2009, Tilak founded Arun Gems International (AGI), sourcing rare diamonds and gemstones across more than forty countries. AUMIKA® is the fine-jewelry house built on that lifetime of sourcing — begin with the right stone, then quietly craft the piece around it. Each one created once, and never repeated.
A stone is not a product. It is a once-occurring geological event. The piece we build around it should be equally singular.
